Tata Harrier Facelift vs Mahindra Scorpio N Drag Race

Tata Harrier facelift and Mahindra Scorpio N go toe-to-toe in this latest drag race competition. These two SUVs are already well-known in the automotive world. The Harrier made a big impact in our market when Tata Motors introduced it in 2019, becoming an instant hit. Likewise, the Scorpio N set impressive booking records and now has a significant waiting period for deliveries. In this price range, many people find themselves deciding between these two vehicles. Let’s see who comes out on top in this drag race.

These two videos come from Charlie Vlogs and Rohan Makania on YouTube. Both these YouTubers are conducting the same drag race competition. The viewers get a chance to witness the competition from the perspective of both cars. In the first round, the AC is OFF, the Traction Control is OFF and the cars are set to their sportiest settings. On the count of three, the Scorpio N zooms ahead and stays ahead throughout. A similar trajectory followed in the subsequent rounds. Toward the end, the Scorpio N was being driven in Zap mode (second from top). Still, it managed to beat the Harrier facelift convincingly. It is the clear winner of this drag race.

What We Think

Lately, YouTubers have enthusiastically embraced the practice of using drag races to evaluate and compare the performance of different cars. However, it’s essential to recognize that relying solely on drag races for these assessments might not be the wisest approach. This concern stems from the fact that drag races can potentially cause long-term damage to vehicles since most cars aren’t built for prolonged high-speed, straight-line racing. As a result, we strongly discourage any attempts to participate in drag races with your own car. In reality, most drivers avoid pushing their vehicles to such extreme limits, primarily for safety reasons.
