The new Hyundai Creta EX Optional trim has been launched. Creta is the most successful mid-size SUV in the country. It has been around since 2015. In the last few years, it has achieved the title of the highest-selling SUV on the monthly sales charts multiple times. That is a huge achievement in a price-conscious country like India. The Korean auto giant is known for offering loads of trims with all its vehicles. In that manner, it wants to ensure that there is a suitable version for every car buyer.

We are able to get the details of this model courtesy of World of Automobiles on YouTube. The host has the SUV with him. At the front, it gets halogen projector headlamps with matte black elements on the grille and a rugged component on the bumper. Apart from that, there isn’t much change to the fascia. On the sides, there are 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. At the rear, it boasts shark fin antenna, connected LED taillamps, roof-mounted spoiler, but no rear defogger or rear wiper.
On the inside, there are adequate amenities to take care of most needs of the customers. Some of the features include dual-tone colour theme on dashboard and door panels, flat-bottom steering wheel with controls, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, paddle shifters (with automatic gearbox), tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, manual AC, front armrest, height adjustable seat belts, USB-C charging, panoramic sunroof, sunglass holder, height adjustable driver seat, fabric seat upholstery, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, dedicated reading lamps at the rear, rear adjustable headrests, rear armrest, 6 airbags and more.

The Hyundai Creta EX Optional is available with a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol mill, which churns out 115 PS and 144 Nm and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine good for 116 PS and 250 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. One can choose between a manual and an automatic transmission. The prices start at Rs 12.97 lakh and go up to Rs 15.96 lakh, ex-showroom. This is roughly Rs 65,000 more expensive than the regular EX trim. Let us see how well the customers receive it.
