Many Maruti Suzuki models are sold in numerous international markets with slight tweaks
In this post, we take a look at the details of the Suzuki Fronx, which gets ADAS in the Indonesian market. In India, the Fronx has been doing decently on the monthly sales charts. It sits between the Baleno and Brezza as a relatively niche crossover. Still, due to the brand image, customers have flocked towards it. Also, the options of multiple powertrains and new-age tech and convenience amenities have ensured its appeal. For now, let us take a look at the details here.
Suzuki Fronx Gets ADAS
We are able to experience these visuals courtesy of AutonetMagz on YouTube. The visuals capture the host having a test drive of the latest Suzuki Fronx in a controlled environment. In the first part of the video, the host reviews the exterior styling and interior features of the Fronx. However, those are mostly similar to the Fronx sold in India. It contains the latest design philosophy from Suzuki, along with many modern tech and comfort functionalities, and connectivity features.
Nevertheless, the biggest talking point is the ADAS. In fact, the host experiences the functioning of the ADAS on the properly marked roads. He tests things like the Lane Keep Assist. Apart from that, the ADAS suite offers features like:
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Land Keep Assist
- Autonomous Emergency Braking
- Head-up Display
- Lane Departure Prevention
- Lane Departure Warning
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- 360-degree Camera
- Vehicle Swaying Warning
- Blind Spot Monitoring
- High Beam Assist
- Parking Sensors
These are some handy active and passive safety functions to ensure the security of the occupants under all circumstances. Also, for the Indonesian market, there are two powertrain options to choose from – a 1.5-litre K15B naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine, making 104 PS and 138 Nm, AND, a 1.5-litre K15C 4-cylinder petrol hybrid mill, which generates a decent 100 PS and 135 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. The testing vehicle comes with an automatic transmission. Let us see if the ADAS makes it to the Indian model as well.
