The upcoming Mahindra Thar Sport, aka the new Bolero Neo, is bound to be an international model. In the last few years, the Indian automobile giant has been focusing on creating world-class products. Mahindra Thar Sport aka New Bolero Neo to be a Global Model
As per the latest information, the new SUV is slated to debut on Independence Day. That has been a tradition that Mahindra has created in the last few years. Each year on August 15, it showcases its new products, representing the best that it has to offer. This time around, the Thar Sport aka the new-gen Bolero Neo, will be a key SUV. It has already announced that the SUV will be on sale in Australia. However, it will bear a different name. In India, we might have it as the new-gen Mahindra Bolero Neo.
What is quite interesting is the fact that it will be a monocoque SUV with a length of under 4m. While all the details about the SUV are not out, rumour has it that it could come with a turbo petrol, turbo diesel and a series hybrid powertrain. On top of that, there will be an all-wheel-drive configuration option as well. For better packaging, the engine will be mounted transversely. Even on the inside, it will boast new-age tech and convenience amenities to pamper the occupants.

The Mahindra Thar Sport, aka the new Bolero Neo, has been spotted testing on multiple occasions in recent times. We will witness a boxy silhouette along with a rugged road presence. However, the design will be modern and appealing. Bolero is an immensely successful moniker in the Indian market. With the new Bolero Neo, the SUV is slated to enter the new age of mobility.
