It is not all that common for top celebrities to get their Rolls Royce cars modified to be bulletproof
Anant Ambani has reportedly acquired a Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge, which boasts a bulletproof body, courtesy of an aftermarket car house. Anant is the son of Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia. He is often spotted travelling on the streets amidst an impressive convoy, comprising of luxury cars like Range Rover SUVs. The Ambani family is known for their love for Rolls Royce cars. They own several models and have kept updating their garage for years now. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest case.
Anant Ambani Seen in Bulletproof Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge
This post stems from Cars For You on YouTube. This channel features content around our beloved celebrities and their ostentatious automobiles. On this occasion, the visuals capture the bulletproof Rolls Royce Cullinan of Anant Ambani. We know that Rolls Royce doesn’t make armoured and bulletproof vehicles. Hence, a professional aftermarket car modification house was involved in creating this unique avatar. Due to the added weight, it is possible that there might have been some mechanical changes to the suspension and brakes, too.
As per some reports, the Cullinan gets a reinforced body, installation of a multi-layer glass structure, ballistic plating, a completely sealed fuel tank to remove the danger of the fuel tank getting impacted during any mishap, oxygen supply to tackle chemical attack, etc. All these amenities are added to the car to ensure the utmost safety and comfort of the occupants. Now, we don’t know if this was a new model or if Anant converted the existing Cullinan into a bulletproof car.
Specs
The Rolls Royce Cullinan is a powerful vehicle, which ensures that it strikes a great balance between being ultra-comfortable and performance-oriented, at the same time. Under its long hood, there is a potent 6.75-litre V12 petrol engine, generating an impressive 571 hp and 850 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. This mill pairs with an 8-speed automatic gearbox from ZF that sends power to all four wheels. In India, the prices hover around the Rs 10 Crore mark. However, with the armoured modifications, these can easily rise to around Rs 17 Crore.
