Yatharth Chauhan, Managing Editor
Mahindra is clearly doubling down on the “tech-luxury EV” positioning with the Cineluxe Edition, and that strategy makes perfect sense in today’s feature-driven premium electric SUV space. Indian buyers at this price point are no longer chasing range alone; they want a differentiated in-cabin experience, and the lounge-like theme with Dolby Atmos and triple-screen layout directly taps into that demand. The Rs 70,000 premium is smartly calibrated, it keeps the product aspirational without disturbing the strong value equation Pack Three already offers. More importantly, this move reinforces how Mahindra is using the XEV sub-brand to create lifestyle-led EVs rather than just electrified SUVs, which is exactly where the upper end of the Indian EV market is headed.
