Hyundai has launched the Lounge Edition versions of the Creta, Creta Electric and Alcazar for the Indian market. Creta is the most successful mid-size SUV in the country. It is available in ICE and electric avatars. On the other hand, the Alcazar is the 3-row SUV based on the Creta. Over the years, the sales for these SUVs have been strong. With these new edition variants, the Korean auto giant wishes to make these models even more desirable for buyers looking for a premium experience. Hyundai Lounge Edition of Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric
As the name suggests, the Lounge Edition models of the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric are introduced to enhance the cabin experience. The main attractions of these SUVs include a new integrated 11.6-inch Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSE) for an immersive OTT streaming experience, premium seat design pattern, Moonwhite ambient lighting, 5-seater lounge-like seating configuration, voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof and much more. In fact, the special effects have not just been reserved for the interior. These SUVs also get a bold and premium black treatment, 18-inch Matte Black alloys, black painted front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish and a new Golden Bronze colour for the exterior. Note that there are no changes to the powertrain and transmission options with any of these SUVs. Therefore, buyers will continue to have the existing engine and battery pack options already on offer with these corresponding models. Essentially, these special edition models are catered to the growing needs of customers who want to experience a glimpse of a premium and luxury cabin without having to shell out exorbitant money on luxury cars. Hyundai has taken an interesting approach with the Lounge Edition by focusing on something that is becoming increasingly important to buyers – the overall in-cabin experience.
