Bajaj Auto Ltdย has launched a new variant in the CT 100 range of entry-level motorcycle. The latest model in the CT 100 lineup of bikes is comes with Electric Start and Alloy Wheels. The new 2017 Bajaj CT 100 ES Alloy Wheel model has an ex-showroom price of Rs 41,997. In comparison, the spoke wheel model costs Rs 35,181 (ex-showroom). This is the second time that the manufacturer has introduced an update in the CT 100 range. Earlier this year, it updated the CT 100 with a BS4 engine to meet the latest emission norms. Even with the addition of slightly premium features like the electric start and alloy wheels, the CT 100 ES Alloy Wheel model is not only among the cheapest bikes from Bajaj, but is also among the cheapest bikes in India. Mechanically, there is no change in the motorcycle. This means that the new CT 100 ES Alloy model comes with aย 99.27 cc single-cylinder engine that outputs a max. power ofย 8.2 PS @ย 7,500 RPM and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm @ย 4,500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a four-speed manual transmission and the bike can hit a top speed of 90 KMPH.ย The CT 100 gets aย standard telescopic forks up front and a twin spring-in-spring (SNS) setup at the rear. It getsย 110 mm drum brakes at both wheels.
