Triumph India today launched the all-new Street Triple RS in the country’s fast-evolving premium bike market. Speaking at the new 2017 Triumph Street Triple RS India launch, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd. commented “Innovation at Triumph is motivated by our need to deliver products that suit rider requirements. The new Triumph Street Triple RS is a force-machine that delivers in terms of performance and style. It is the most explosive and adrenaline-charged Street Triple ever. The all-new 2017 Street Triple RS Triumph gets a race-bred new 765cc engine that delivers a maximum power of 123 PS along with a peak torque of 77 Nm. Based on the celebrated race bred ‘Daytona’ engine, the new 765cc Street Triple engine comes with more than 80 new parts including new crank, pistons and Nikasil plated aluminium barrels and an increased bore and stroke. The new 2017 Triumph Street Triple India price has been kept at Rs 1,055,000 (ex-showroom, Pan India).

Powering the new motorcycle is a 765cc, Liquid-cooled, 12 valves, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder engine that outputs a maximum power of 123 PS along with a peak torque of 77 Nm. The Street Triple RS comes with the highest-specification Showa big piston ø41mm front forks, adjustable for preload, rebound, and compression damping. The rear suspension unit is a premium Ohlins STX40 piggyback reservoir monoshock.

The new motorcycle has range-topping Brembo M50 4-piston radial monobloc calipers on the front delivering class-leading stopping power, with ratio and span adjustable lever and a Brembo single piston sliding caliper on the back. The new Street Triple RS gets range-topping Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires that deliver advanced sporting performance for road and the occasional track use.
