2018 Hero Super Splendor iSmart 125 launch soon. Expect a price hike of INR 1,000 for the new model

World’s largest automaker, Hero MotoCorpย is about to launch the 2018 Hero Super Splendor iSmart 125 in India. The new commuter features a new design, graphics amongst other changes. It may be noted that the commuter segment has been the most profitable section for Hero MotoCorp so far. Hence, it is focussing on launching more new commuter bikes than premium offerings. Recently, it came to light that the company has shelved all plans to launch the Hero HX250R. The new Super Splendor will lead the charge for Hero MotoCorp in the very competitive 125cc commuter segment of India’s bike market.
