2020 Land Rover Defender exterior packs the same old boxy design but now looks fresh. It will come in two trims – a three door version and a five door version.

Recently we brought you the news of the 2020 Land Rover Defender which was spied testing in India and now the new images of the exterior design are surfacing the internet. The side-profile spotted in the digital instrument cluster sports 5-doors trim will rival with the Mercedes Benz G-class.

The long wheelbase version design can be overlooked from this image like the round headlamps at the front and a tall front-end. The overall design will remain boxy as ever. The hood of the car is bulged up a little and the ORVMs are blackened out.

2020 Land Rover Exteriors also hints five-spoke large alloy wheels followed by square window lines and a spare wheel mounted at the side-hinged tailgate. The B and D-pillars are blacked out while the A and C pillar seems to be in body coloured. The overall silhouette of the car will still be like the older gen but will not look modern and fresh.

Upcoming Land Rover Defender will be made available in two trims – a shorter ’90’ 3-door version and a longer ‘110’ 5-door trim. The company is targeting to increase its base from bare basic utility trim to the high on luxury trims with the two different wheelbase options. Speculations also suggest that even a longer wheelbase than the upcoming one is in the talks.

The interiors of the 2020 Land Rover Defender are not yet known but it is believed that it will carry a plethora of features than the previous generation. A large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features will be observed. Safety Features on board will include airbags, traction control, hill assist control, ABS with EBD, ESP and more.
