Anand Mahindra Tweets About Real-Life ‘Transformer’

For the uninitiated, we are talking about the Transformer movie franchise. It consists of cool visual effects making cars turn into robots and vice versa. A similar case emerges in real life and is doing rounds on the internet. Anand shares a video from an event by a Turkish R&D company. The event has a lot of people gathered. At the beginning of the video, there is a regular red BMW parked in the middle. With a push of a button, the entire exterior of the car starts transforming itself just like we see in the movies.

The body panels start coming out of the car and transitioning into something truly astounding. Within a minute, a colossal robot is formed from the vehicle. It has legs, a middle portion and a head and uses the rear wheels of the vehicle to move around. The front fascia of the BMW forms the chest area of the robot. Now we are not sure if this was a regular full-sized vehicle or a miniature version of it. In any case, it is truly remarkable what these people have been able to achieve. Anand writes, “A real-life ‘transformer’ developed & showcased by a Turkish R&D company. We should be having such fun at our R&D too! @Velu_Mahindra ?”
