Man Buys Honda Scooter Using Coins
The video has been shared on Twitter by ANI. This incident has been reported from the Darrang district in Assam and the owner of this new scooter is Mohammad Saidul Hoque. He is seen taking a sack full of coins (Rs 1, 2, 5 and 10) to the two-wheeler dealership. He says, “I run a small shop in Boragaon area and it was my dream to buy a scooter. I started to collect coins 5-6 years ago. Finally, I have fulfilled my dream. I am really happy now.”
Needless to say, the owner of the dealership was quite shocked to witness this unique payment method. The images show the dealership staff engaged in counting the coins diligently. The showroom owner was quoted saying, “When my executive told me that a customer has come to our showroom to buy a scooter with coins worth around Rs 90,000, I was delighted, because I had seen such news on TV. I wish him that, he would buy a four-wheeler in future.”
