Ather 450 has been updated again, via Over The Air system. The update includes additional information on the console and some new features too.

Ather 450 is equipped with Over-the-air update system, which updates the scooter through the inbuilt sim connection. It has now received the second update, which gives it more features and a more informative console.

The console now shows battery percentage, two trip meters and recommendations for the tire pressure. You can also see the documents of the scooter in high resolution on the screen now.

Other features on the instrument console include navigation options to work/home as favourite and safety alerts related to starting the scooter, charging, battery and more.

Ather 450 now gets a guide-me-home light. In this system, the headlamp stays on for 20 seconds after the scooter is switched off. This would not affect the battery to much extent.

Mechanical changes include revisions to the electric motor. The noise by the motor and charging fan has been reduced, and they will be switched off when not needed. Further, you cannot remove the charger till the motor is on.

All these updates are just done over-the-air. The last update gave the Ather a better riding range and revised riding modes. Navigation system also received an update and now shows alternative and time-saving routes.
