Aussie Expert Reviews 2025 Mahindra XUV 3XO
This post stems from CarSauce on YouTube. The host has a compact SUV with him at the Mahindra SUV Proving Track in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He mentions that he likes the way it is designed. The front section contains massive C-shaped LED DRLs on the extremes of the fascia, encapsulating LED projector headlamps and a glossy black grille section. The bumper is quite sporty. On the sides, there are elegant alloy wheels, massive wheel arches and roof rails along with black side pillars. Finally, the host says that he appreciates the tail section, especially due to the connected LED light bar joining the taillamps. Overall, he feels the SUV looks modern and smart.
Once inside, he inspects each aspect quite thoroughly. There are soft-touch materials on the dashboard with a textured layer insert. Other bits include chunky steering wheel with multimedia controls, the free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, digital instrument cluster, storage spaces, uses of shiny materials on the centre console, physical AC controls, 65 W fast charger, height adjustable driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, spacious rear section, rear armrest, rear USB-C charging port and much more. Clearly, the cabin is well-equipped.
Specs and Driving Impressions
The Mahindra XUV 3XO uses a peppy 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mStallion turbo petrol mill which generates a decent 110 PS and 200 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. It pairs with a torque converter automatic transmission. They drove it on the high-speed testing track and were able to hit a whopping 172 km/h of top speed. Even at this speed, the car was incredibly stable. Thereafter, the hosts tested the handling characteristics of the SUV. Overall, they were pretty impressed by the manoeuvrability of the XUV 3XO. Let us see how well it does once it launches in Australia.
