Baba Ramdev has been making all the headlines as he takes the delivery of his brand new Mahindra XUV700.

It is not every day that you would see Baba Ramdev rocking a swanky SUV like Mahindra XUV700. But the internet is going bonkers over the YouTube Shorts where the yoga guru is driving the SUV from the dealership. XUV700 has been received exceedingly well by Indian car buyers and the SUV commands a waiting time of over 1 year despite its launch in September last year. The desirability of the premium SUV has enticed even Baba Ramdev as he drives the SUV away with his colleagues.

The video clip has been uploaded as YouTube Shorts and is gaining a lot of traction among the netizens. The visuals show Baba Ramdev confidently reversing the big SUV and then driving away. There are other yogis with him in the SUV too, as deduced from the attire. The white-coloured SUV looks like one of the higher trims with a panoramic sunroof. Mahindra has equipped it with a plethora of premium features to attract tech-savvy buyers. That is the reason for its mad popularity.

Specs

The Mahindra XUV700 comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit that churns out a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. Meanwhile, the Diesel engine is available in multiple states of tune. The lower versions get 155 PS and 360 Nm, while the higher positioned models benefit from 185 PS and 420 Nm (450 Nm in automatic variant). Both the petrol and diesel engine variants will be available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices. The prices range between Rs 13.18 lakh and Rs 24.58 lakh, ex-showroom.
