Fresh reports reveal that KTM is launching the BS-6 Duke 250, Duke 390 and RC390 very soon, with their deliveries stated to commence by December 20.

KTM is planning to launch its entire BS-6 compliant range in the next three months. In December, the BS-6 KTM Duke 250, Duke 390 and RC390 will be launched prior to December 20, with deliveries commencing a couple of days post the launch.

At the IBW 2019, KTM is going to launch the 390 Adventure which we expect will be BS-6 compliant from the start. Further, the BS-6 KTM Duke 125 and RC125 will be launched in January 2020 and lastly, the Duke 200 in February.

Unlike other manufacturers, KTM is not going to reduce the power figures with the BS-6 engines. While all the motorcycles will just get an engine upgrade, KTM is reportedly updating the Duke 200 with some minor changes.

The prices of the BS-6 Duke 250, Duke 390 and RC390 will increase by Rs 15,000 each. The 125cc models will see a price hike of Rs 8,000-10,000. As of now, the KTM range starts off at Rs 1.30 Lakhs going all the way up to Rs 2.47 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Meanwhile, in the first week of December, KTM will finally introduce the 390 Adventure in India. It was recently unveiled at the EICMA 2019 in its flesh. It sits on the frame of the Duke 390 and also uses the same engine without any changes to the engine tuning.

The 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine is capable of producing 43 BHP and 37 Nm of peak torque. With BS-6 engines coming in, expect the power figures to be reduced slightly on the 390 Twins.
