BS6 KTM Duke 200

KTM has launched its entire BS6 lineup now with price hike ranging between Rs 3,300 to Rs 10,400. A couple of them have also received new colour options.

KTM has now introduced its BS6 motorcycles and we have the new price list as well. A good thing is that KTM has now reduced the power figures of the BS6 motorcycles. Some of them have received new livery as well.

As for the Duke 200, it gets a complete makeover with its styling now similar to the Duke 250. Here is the revised price list of the BS6 KTM motorcycles:

ModelBS6 PriceDifference
Duke 1251.38 Lakhs5,500
RC1251.55 Lakhs6,500

RC2001.96 Lakhs6,100

As seen, the highest price hike is of the Duke 200, which now looks sharper and more aggressive. It gets dual-channel ABS and LED DRLs in features upgrade. New colour options include Ceramic White and Electronic Orange.

The Duke 390 gets two new colour options as well, including Silver Metallic & Ceramic White with a fresh graphic design. The Duke 250 now gets Super Moto ABS mode as standard with Silver Metallic & Dark Galvano colour options. Also, there are new colour options with refreshed graphics, available on Duke 125, RC125, RC200 and RC390.

BS6 KTM Duke 390 also gets a new upgrade with the bi-directional quickshifter from 390 Adventure. This feature might has not come on the RC390. We are yet to get a confirmation if it continues with its existing fully digital meter instead of the TFT colour screen from Duke 390.

KTM recently launched the 390 Adventure, priced at Rs 2.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It is based on the Duke 390, using the same engine and mechanical parts. The sprocket, as well as the suspension setup, remain the same as of the Duke.

Further, the Adventure also gets traction control and switchable ABS. KTM offers Metzeler Tourance tyres with a 100/90-19 tyre at the front and a 130/80-17 tyre at the rear. Unlike the adjustable front suspension of the international-spec 390 Adventure, the India version goes with non-adjustable forks.

KTM is also working on a 500cc twin-cylinder engine in collaboration with Bajaj. We are expecting Duke and RC, both, to get the twin-cylinder engine. Possibly, these both motorcycles will be produced in India to keep the costs low.
