Here is one of the earliest modified 2020 Mahindra Thar that gets large 20-inch alloy wheels and tyres specially made for 4X4 cars.

The deliveries of 2020 Mahindra Thar have commenced successfully across the country, while the waiting period has also increased by a huge gap. People have already started modifying their Thar and here is one such example of it. It just gets two modifications done but those change the styling of Thar by a difference.

As you can see, this modified 2020 Mahindra Thar gets bigger 20-inch alloy wheels from RPM. Earlier, it came with 18-inch alloys which were already among the largest in the segment. Here, it is even larger than that. Further, it gets these performance-spec tyres from Accelera, completing both the modifications done.

The tyre used is Accelera Omikron AT which comes with dual purpose treading. These tyres are specifically used for increasing the performance on-the-road and also off-the-road. They are found mostly on 4X4 cars and the company claims that they can easily fit for any type of terrain you go.

It will also offer better stability and control while cruising at high speeds. The total cost of this modification is unknown but expect somewhere around Rs 75,000. Also, this is the convertible Thar which comes as an option only on the top-end variants. It further comes with a soft top and hard top, depending on the variant.

New Thar comes with two engine option including a 2.2 Litre mHawk turbo-diesel engine and a 2.0 Litre mStallion petrol motor. Both of them are offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter. However, you only get the AT option on the LX variant. Prices start at Rs 11 Lakhs up to Rs 13.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
