Our View

I find it fascinating to think how deeply the carmakers think before naming a car. Mostly, the meanings are so hidden that an average car owner won’t be able to decipher the exact meaning. But on some occasions, the meanings are straightforward. For instance, Swift has a regular meaning in the English language. Also, Dzire and S-Presso are regular words. But others like Celerio, Invicto, Alto, etc are derived from foreign languages. Hence, it is often missed by most car owners. In any case, I really enjoyed bringing you the details of the meanings of the names of Maruti cars.
