Replacing the beast Multistrada Enduro 1200, Ducati has confirmed the India launch of new Multistrada 1260 Enduro. Enduros are usually big motorcycles meant for long tours on rough terrains.

The new Multistrada Enduro gets the same engine that comes on the regular 1260 ADV. The 1262cc L-Twin Testastretta engine with Desmodromic Variable Timing produces 158.3 BHP at 9500 RPM and 128 Nm of peak torque at 7500 RPM.

The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift Technology. It is basically a semi-automatic clutch for the comfort of rider. You get the clutchless technology.

Expected prices of the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro are around Rs 19-20 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). It will definitely be priced more than the Multistrada 1260 and Enduro 1200, which go for Rs 17.8 Lakhs and Rs 18.03 Lakhs, respectively.

The 1260 Enduro will rival the likes of BMW R 1250 GS Adventure and the Triumph Tiger 1200 in India. The Triumph Tiger is better selling than the BMW motorcycle.
