Harley Davidson X440 vs RE Hunter 350 Drag Race

Here is a long drag race between the Harley Davidson X440 and the RE Hunter 350. Both these are quite prominent motorcycles in their own rights. However, the Harley has a clear advantage when it comes to the engine and specifications. On top of that, Harley Davidson is an eminent premium motorcycle maker which makes powerful tourer bikes. Similarly, Royal Enfield is arguably the most iconic motorcycle company in India. It also specializes in designing retro tourer bikes. That is what makes this drag race interesting. Let us take a look at the details of who comes out on top.

Harley Davidson X440 vs RE Hunter 350 Drag Race

This video comes from Rough rider azam on YouTube. It captures the two powerful tourer bikes right next to each other. The YouTuber takes the Hunter 350 in the first round. As soon as the third horn blows, the X440 simply races ahead. In fact, it was able to maintain a large lead right from the beginning. Throughout the duration of the race, the Hunter 350 stood no chance whatsoever. To maintain consistency of the results and take into account the riding mannerisms of various riders, the riders are swapped for the second round. However, the result remained exactly the same. The Harley Davidson X440 simply annihilated the Hunter 350 in this long drag race.

What We Think

Many YouTubers have embraced the popular practice of using drag races to evaluate and compare various motorcycles. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to acknowledge that relying solely on drag races for these assessments may not be the wisest approach. This concern arises from the fact that drag races can potentially cause lasting damage to motorcycles, as most bikes are not designed for extended high-speed, straight-line racing. Consequently, we strongly discourage attempting drag races with your own motorcycles. In reality, most riders avoid pushing their bikes to such extreme limits, prioritizing safety and the avoidance of harm to themselves and their vehicles.
