Tata Nexon

Check out this digital rendering of the new Tata Nexon imagined as a hardcore off-roader. It is priced from Rs 6.95 Lakhs up to Rs 12.70 Lakhs

Tata Nexon is a sub-compact SUV and is not at all meant for off-roading. It does get a high ground clearance but other than that, there’s nothing more. Image how would the Nexon look if it received all the modifications to become a hardcore off-roader. Check out ahead the rendering video of it ahead.

You can see that the designer has made a lot of changes to the Nexon facelift for it to look more brute. The bumpers are more muscular and so is the air vent cover. On the front, you can see four Auxillary headlights that you see in most of the modified off-roaders. Further, you can also see the tow hook just below the headlamps.

Further, at the bottom, it can be seen equipped with a bash plate. On the roof, there is a carrier with a thin LED auxilary lights strip. With some minor changes to the fenders along with off-roading dual-purpose tyres and new alloy wheels, the designer completes the off-roader look for Tata Nexon.

Tata launched the facelifted Nexon in February just sometime after the Nexon EV. It continues with the same 1.2 Litre turbo-petrol and 1.5 Litre turbo diesel engine. The petrol unit is slightly more powerful producing 120 PS now. The diesel engine produces the same 110 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque.

Gearbox options include a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AMT for both the engines. Cosmetic changes are the main upgrade with new alloy wheels, edgier front and rear bumpers and new headlamp design. Inside the cabin, it gets a new digital instrument cluster, refreshed seat upholstery continued with its earlier layout.
