Specification

The Honda CBX 150 will essentially be a stripped down version of the CB Unicorn. It will be based on the same chassis and will share a lot of tis mechanicals with the bike. However, to keep costs in check Honda is expected to use the old 150cc engine and also do away with certain features such as mono shock suspension, rear disc brake, front fairing, etc. Leaked patent images reveal a double-sided rear suspension, cheap looking grab rails, round headlamps which is a CBX trademark. The tail lamp, rear mudguard, fuel tank all appear to be similar to the CB Unicorn. The Hona CBX 150 will, in all probability, share a lot of its components with existing Honda bikes. The facilitate city commuting the CBX also gets high set handlebars and an upright riding position.

Other than the CBX, Honda is also said to be developing a rival to the Hero Impulse which is a relatively untapped segment in the Indian market. This motorcycle will also be a low-cost product and could share its mechanicals with the Honda CBX 150. We will update you with more information once we are able to get our hands on it.
