Currently, the latest upcoming scooter from the Japanese giants, Honda, is the Honda PCX 125. It is scheduled to launch globally in September 2018 and there are chances that it might come to the Indian markets, sometime later. Some time back, there were rumours about the Honda PCX 150 launching in India. The PCX series has petrol and hybrid scooters in its range. The PCX 150 is currently popular in the US. However, speculations said that it might launch in India too. For the past 2 years, it has not come to India suggesting that the scooter would not launch in India. Also, if you see, the Indian markets are still not ready for maxi high-end and hybrid scooters. Most of the people are budget oriented and such scooters would easily cost much. However, after 1-2 years, its younger sibling, PCX 125 might launch in India.
The Honda PCX 150 India debut took place at the 2014ย Auto Expo, where HMSI showcased this maxi-scooter to gauge the response of show-goers. A lot has changed since the scooter’s India debut. With premium products, like the Aprilia SR 150ย and Vespa 150ย going on sale in the country, it suddenly makes all the more sense to launch the PCX 150 here.
