After launching the Hyundai Aura, the company will continue with Xcent for private buyers, but only with the CNG and that also on the mid-spec S variant.

Hyundai recently announced its new sub-compact sedan which will be introduced at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Hyundai Aura is based on the Xcent and will get new engines, significant styling upgrades as well.

The situation with Xcent and Aura is the same with Grand i10 Nios and Grand i10. Now, the diesel and automatic variants of Grand i10 have been discontinued. A similar situation will happen with the Xcent as well.

Further, the Hyundai Xcent CNG will only be available in the mid-spec S variant. Features onboard this variant include rear AC vents, Tilt Steering, 2-DIN audio system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, Steering mounted audio controls, Rear-seat centre armrest, LED DRLs and Hub Caps.

Safety features onboard include dual front airbags, central locking, rear parking sensors, Day and Night IRVM, ABS with EBD, Driver and Passenger Seat Belt Reminder and Speed Alert System. Even with the CNG fitted, the Xcent is unlikely to get any other update.
