Tata Punch Pink Wrap Front Three Quarters

This has to be the first Tata Punch in the country with a bright pink wrap. Car wraps have been gaining popularity in the Indian market in the last few years. People are eager to see their car in a completely fresh avatar with a unique wrap. Moreover, it can easily be removed if the owner decides to change their mind later on. One could argue that it is one of the easiest ways to alter and enhance the aesthetics of a car. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest case.

India’s First Tata Punch with Pink Wrap

These images come from the Tata PUNCH Club India page on Facebook. A certain Amol Dixit shared the images of his Tata Punch with this unique but eye-catching wrap. The pink colour complements the black elements quite well. There are black strips on the bonnet which contrast the pink colour a lot. Moreover, the side profile looks sporty with black alloy wheels and side body cladding. Even the black side pillars add to the aggressive demeanour of this micro SUV. All in all, this seemingly strange combination is capable of making heads turn when it drives on public roads.

Tata Punch comes with multiple powertrain options. These include a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine which produces a healthy 86 hp and 113 Nm of peak power and torque. The buyers can choose between either a 5-speed manual or an AMT automatic gearbox. Additionally, this engine can also be had in a CNG version. In that Bi-fuel configuration, the engine outputs 72.4 hp and 103 Nm of peak power and torque. It can only be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission for the time being. But Tata has already launched an AMT gearbox with its CNG cars. Therefore, we will see it in the Punch soon.

Author’s Note

Wrapping a car in a different colour than its original paint can lead to regulatory complications. Changing the exterior colour of a car is illegal in India. If you do wish to alter the paint or get a wrap on your car, you must first consult your local RTO. If they permit, you can get it edited into the registration certificate of the car. That is the legal route to change the colour of your car. Make sure to spread the word around so that people don’t face unnecessary trouble with the traffic police and related authorities.
