Kia Seltos Launched In India – Price And Complete Details

Kia Motors has launched its first product for India, the Seltos SUV which is actually based on the Hyundai Creta and its price starts off at Rs 9.69 Lakhs.

Kia Seltos has been launched in India, as the brand’s first debutant for India. Kia is a sub-brand of Hyundai Motor, as the Seltos is actually based on the Creta, using the same platform underneath.

The price of Kia Seltos starts off at Rs 9.69 Lakhs, going all the way up to Rs 15.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It is priced very near to the Creta, which starts from Rs 9.95 Lakhs up to Rs 15 Lakhs. Here is the detailed variant-wise price list of Kia Seltos:

Seltos comes with three engine options – a 1.4 Litre TGDI turbo-petrol and 1.5 Litre diesel and petrol engines. All of them are BS-6 compliant. The turbo-petrol engine comes exclusively on the GT Line trim, while both the other engines come on both the trims.

All the three engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The turbo-petrol unit gets a 7-speed DCT, while the petrol engine gets a 6-speed CVT. The diesel engine comes with its own option, a 6-speed AT.

The petrol engine produces 114 BHP and 144 Nm of torque. whereas the diesel engine produces 114 BHP and 250 Nm of torque. The turbo-petrol unit produces 140 BHP and 242 Nm of torque.
