Mahindra BE.05 Electric SUV Spotted Testing

This post comes from sketchbuildride on Instagram. It captures the electric SUV with a coupe shape on the highway in Nashik, Maharashtra. Being a test mule, the entire body is under heavy camouflage. Still, the silhouette of the SUV is evident. At the rear, there is a prominent spoiler with an extended tailgate. The side profile is modern and attractive with large alloy wheels. Looking closely, one can also spot the sequential turn indicators. Someone driving on the road captured the entire video from the rear and the front. There are flush-fitting door handles and pronounced wheel arches. The bonnet has a curvaceous appearance. All in all, it seems to resemble the concept model showcased earlier.

The electric vehicle market is gaining momentum in India, and it’s noteworthy that Indian car manufacturers are leading this transition. Tata Motors, for instance, currently commands over 80% market share in the Indian EV market. The company has successfully transformed its internal combustion engine (ICE) models into electric vehicles. Similarly, Mahindra has adopted a similar strategy with the XUV400, based on the XUV300. Looking ahead, Mahindra has ambitious plans to introduce five electric SUVs in the next couple of years. This expansion will provide customers with a diverse range of options to choose from.
