It is an intriguing partnership between the latest Mahindra EV and India’s most loved mobile game
In a rather strange turn of events, the Mahindra BE 6 has established a unique collaboration with Krafton’s BGMI. The Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs incorporate the latest tech and prowess of the Indian automobile giant to produce world-class products. There are two dedicated sub-brands to sell EVs under the Mahindra umbrella – XEV and BE. Currently, the XEV 9e and BE 6 are on sale. Many new products under these two banners are on the cards for the coming years. For now, let us take a look at the specifics of this case.
Mahindra BE 6 Collaborates with BGMI
In a rare blend of gaming and the automotive world, BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) partnered with Mahindra Electric to launch an exclusive in-game event featuring the futuristic Mahindra BE 6 SUV. Over a span of 60 days, players got a chance to experience the BE 6 virtually, and one lucky winner took it home in real life. The event was designed around the BE 6, allowing players to explore it in detail through a special viewing zone. A promotional video played within the game, and the BE 6 quickly became one of the most popular in-game vehicles. Millions of gamers selected it as their ride of choice.
To enhance the experience, players could unlock special items tied to the BE 6. These included a car, themed skins, a backpack, a pan, and even a parachute, all styled to reflect the SUV’s look and feel. The collaboration reached a huge audience. BGMI has a player base of over 230 million in India. On social media, the campaign gained more than 400 million views on Instagram and YouTube, with over 600,000 engagements. It also saw participation from more than 25 leading gaming influencers.
The campaign ended with a real-world reward. Mia Joseph, the contest winner, was handed the keys to a custom, one-of-a-kind Mahindra BE 6 at Mahindra Eram Motors in Trissur on July 24, 2025. This special edition BE 6 came with unique design touches:
- A BGMI badge on the boot and passenger door.
- Game-inspired decals along the lower side panels.
- A custom windscreen badge.
- A “Lone Survivor” symbol on the rear boot is a nod to BGMI’s gameplay.
This collaboration showed how virtual experiences can drive real-world excitement.
