Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS Launched At Rs 1.88 Lakhs – Complete Details

The prices of Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS are out and the roadster is now priced at Rs 1.88 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It gets an updated engine and new features.

Mahindra has updated its official website with the new Mojo 300 ABS and is now priced at Rs 1.88 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The updated model has started reaching dealerships and will soon be available for test rides.

All the updates have increased the prices of the Mahindra Mojo ABS. It receives a hike of nearly Rs 4,000 over the earlier top-spec XT variant. Also, instead of the UT and XT variants earlier, the new model comes in a single ABS variant.

The updated Mojo gets an updated 294.7cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, that now produces 26.3 BHP at 7500 RPM. The peak torque has not been mentioned in the document. The XT variant came with liquid cooling and produced 27.1 BHP, whereas the Carburetted XT variant offered 23.1 BHP on tap.

Sadly, the engine is still a BS-4 unit. Chances are that Mahindra might see the response for the updated Mojo, before putting the BS-6 engine. The Mojo continues with a 6-speed gearbox.

The Mojo is now 2115mm long, 1150mm tall and 800mm wide. The wheelbase stands at 1460mm. The styling of the new Mahindra Mojo ABS is basically a fusion of both the XT and UT variants.

The new version loses out on the LED DRLs and the golden colour frame now receives a blacked-out treatment. At the side, you get a higher placed single-side exhaust, instead of a twin-exhaust.

The suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back, taken from the UT variant. Now, it gets a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the back with dual-channel ABS as standard fitment.

It uses Pirelli-sourced Angel CT tires as an upgrade from the earlier base-spec UT variant. Basically, the new Mojo is a fusion of the earlier two variants and misses out on some equipment from the top-spec as well.

It will continue to rival the likes of Jawa Motorcycles, Royal Enfield Classic and Thunderbird 350, Bajaj Dominar 400 and KTM Duke 250.
