Mahindra Scorpio N Achieves 200,000 Units Production Milestone

The Mahindra Scorpio N has been able to achieve a production milestone of 200,000 units. That is an unbelievable stat considering the SUV ranges from Rs 13.85 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh, ex-showroom. Note that the Scorpio N was first launched in India in June 2022. Hence, in 2 and a half years, it has managed to clock 200,000 units in production which speaks volumes about its popularity and appeal. Remember it reached the 100,000 production mark back in January this year. Clearly, the demand and growth trajectory is strong and consistent.

Mahindra showcased the 200,001th Scorpio N and decorated it to celebrate the occasion. This is clearly something the Indian auto giant must be extremely proud of. Under its hood, there are two powertrain options – a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder mStallion turbo petrol mill which churns out a colossal 200 PS and 380 Nm or a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder mHawk turbo diesel engine which is available in two variants – 132 PS / 300 Nm or 175 PS / 400 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. These engines pair with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In the higher trims, there is an impressive 4×4 drivetrain which offers insane capabilities to take it anywhere.
