The Mahindra XUV700 also comes with both, petrol and diesel powertrain options. The petrol engine is Mahindra’s own, top-of-the-line 2.0-litre direction injection turbo petrol mStallion engine. The diesel is the tried and tested 2.2 mHawk unit. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual and an automatic. There might be the option of a 4×4 version later on when the complete specifications are announced.
