Mercedes EQS 580 4MATIC Launched

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the EQS 580 4MATIC Celebration Edition in India. This new model marks the growing popularity of its electric vehicle range and brings even more luxury to the back seat. The Celebration Edition comes with many thoughtful features for rear passengers. It includes Nappa leather seats, multicontour rear seats with heating, and a range of massage programs for relaxation. The seats can recline up to 38 degrees and have additional thigh support for extra comfort. There’s also a chauffeur package that lets the front passenger seat move forward, freeing up more space in the rear.

Inside, you’ll find high-end details, from designer seatbelt buckles with chrome edges to elegant trim. The rear seats are a place to rest or work while you travel. This new EQS 580 4MATIC also offers advanced technology to aid your drive. Rear-axle steering helps make turning easy, and this can be upgraded to 10 degrees for even greater manoeuvrability. The MBUX AR Navigation shows live images alongside directions, making it simpler to find your way, especially in heavy city traffic. Overall, the EQS 580 4MATIC Celebration Edition brings together advanced technology, premium materials, and thoughtful design for a comfortable and convenient ride. It’s a strong step forward for electric vehicles in India.

Specs

Being the flagship product, the Mercedes EQS 580 4MATIC uses a massive 107.8 kWh battery pack. It powers two electric motors for an all-wheel-drive configuration. This generates a healthy 544 PS and 858 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. However, the biggest talking point has to be the ARAI-certified claimed range of 813 km on a single charge. With this power, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in a mere 4.3 seconds. Also, the top speed is a jaw-dropping 210 km/h. Using a DC fast charger, it takes 31 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 80%. Let us see how well the customers embrace this edition.
