MG ZS EV will be available with five charging options. First will be a direct plug-in through a three-point plug. You also have the option of installing an AC home charger. Fast-chargers will be installed at select MG dealerships which will be open 24X7. On a fast charger, the SUV will be charged up to 80% in just 50 mins. On the regular AC charger, it will take 6-8 hours to be charged fully.
The other two options include Extended charging system and Charging On The Go. MG has confirmed that it will be offering a 7.4 kW AC charger for home, completely free of cost. With this, MG plans to put charging stations in metro cities in every 5 kms by the next three years.
Features onboard include the i-Smart V2 touchscreen infotainment with integrated E-SIM and ability to connect to a Wifi Hotspot, real-time maps with charging locations, LED headlamps, Keyless Entry, Skyroof, Twin-Pod Analogue instrument console with digital MID, Rotary Gear Knob, Electronic Parking Brake, inbuilt PM2.5 Air Filter and Auto Start-Stop System.
