Kia Seltos is among the most popular mid-size SUVs in the country
The new-gen Kia Seltos has finally been unveiled today. In fact, the mid-size SUV has been spotted wearing heavy camouflage on many occasions lately. Seltos is one of the most sought-after mid-size SUVs in India. It was first launched here in 2019, marking the brand’s debut in the country. Since then, it has played a key role in helping Kia become the quickest carmaker to cross 1 million (10 lakh) sales in India. The company achieved this milestone in just 59 months of presence. The prices have not been announced today. Let us check out what the new mid-size SUV incorporates.
New-Gen Kia Seltos Exterior
We got the chance to experience the mid-size SUV in the flesh as a part of the media drive. The new design language amplifies the road presence of the SUV. At the front, we see striking LED headlamps encapsulated by sleek LED DRLs on the edge of the massive grille and a sporty bumper with unique elements. Moving to the sides showcases the massive and muscular wheel arches with dual-tone aero alloy wheels, black side pillars, faux roof rails and rugged side body panels. I particularly like the third quarter section with a stylish section. Finally, the rear profile contains a massive roof-mounted spoiler, slim LED taillamps split in the middle, a sporty bumper and cut-outs on the bumper. Overall, the new Seltos has enough updates to set it completely apart from the outgoing model.

Specs and Prices
The new-gen Kia Seltos doesn’t carry any changes to its powertrain choices. It will continue with the known engines – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. These generate 115 PS and 144 Nm, 160 PS and 253 Nm and 116 PS and 250 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. As was previously assumed, there is no hybrid mill on offer. The engines will be paired with manual and automatic transmissions, just like the current model. Therefore, buyers will have all sorts of engine-gearbox combinations to choose from according to their needs. The prices range from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
