The new-gen Maruti Suzuki has already been launched in many international markets in the last few days.

The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift has arrived in numerous international markets including Germany, France, the UK, Japan and Ireland. Next up, we are ready to witness the iconic hatchback in India soon. Swift has been among the highest-selling vehicles in India ever. It has been around since 2005. After 19 years of existence, it still commands a huge demand which is validated by its astronomical monthly sales. To Maruti Suzuki’s credit, it has kept the Swift fresh to ensure that people always remain attracted to it.

This video stems from Eastham Motors on YouTube. It captures the new Swift in all its glory. But what strikes us the most is this stunning Mineral Grey paint scheme. Note that this video comes from the UK. Hence, we are expected to get a new range of colours for the Indian model. Still, it is possible that even the Indian-spec will get this colour, along with tons of other options. The exterior styling bears a few alterations in comparison to the current model but the distinctions are not that extreme. Still, there will be tweaked front fascia, headlamps, taillamps, bumpers, alloy wheels, etc.

Specs

Interestingly, the new Swift will come with a brand-new engine. It will bid farewell to the existing K Series engine and welcome the new Z Series mill. It will not be a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine instead of a 4-cylinder unit which will produce almost similar output as the existing model. But the 3 cylinders will be larger in size and the fuel efficiency will be improved even further. Furthermore, the buyers will get to choose between either manual or automatic transmissions. More details will emerge at the launch.

Maruti Swift has been immensely successful in India. It offers the customers peace of mind and the latest tech and convenience features. Moreover, the customers get access to the most dense sales and service network of Maruti Suzuki in India. Due to excessive localization, the cost of spare parts and maintenance are low. The mileage of Maruti cars is among the highest in their respective segments. We shall have to wait to see how well the customers embrace the new Swift.
