New Hero Passion Pro 2018 Launched. Price – Rs 55,000 (Expected)
World’s largest automaker, Hero MotoCorp has just launched the new Hero Passion Pro 2018 model with iSmart technology. The new version of the company’s popular commuter motorcycle features an updated design and a more powerful engine. The engine now produces 12% more power along with 12% more torque. It may be noted here that the commuter segment has been the most profitable section of the market for Hero MotoCorp so far. Hence, for now, the company is focussed on coming up with new commuter bikes rather than launching premium motorcycles. It has even come to light that the company has decided to drop all plans for launching the Hero HX250R.

New Hero Passion Pro 2018 Price in India
Prices of the new Hero Passion Pro should be out by the end of next month. There are good chances that the new model will cost up to Rs 1000 more than the current bike. Currently, the Passion Pro costs Rs 52,339 for the drum brake variant and Rs 54,244 for the disc brake variant. Hence, prices of the new Passion Pro should start at roughly Rs 53,500.
New Hero Passion Pro 2018 Specifications
The new 2018 Hero Passion Pro comes with an updated design. However, the bigger highlight is the new, bigger engine that displaces 109.2cc. This engine puts out a maximum power of 9.4 PS at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 9 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The latest motorcycle from Hero benefits from the i3S iSmart fuel-saving technology that helps boost the fuel efficiency by killing the engine during long idling in traffic. The engine switches on as soon as the clutch lever is depressed.
In terms of design and styling, the new motorcycle will carry a slightly larger bikini fairing along with a set of new decals. 5-spoke alloy wheels and body-coloured rear view mirrors will help make the bike look more premium. The new model Hero Passion Pro is available in five colours-

- Heavy Grey Metallic
- Frost Blue Metallic
- Sports Red
