New Hero Xpulse 210 Debuts

The Xpulse range of motorcycles is getting a boost with a new version to woo adventure seekers

The new Hero Xpulse 210 has finally made its debut at the EICMA 2024 event in Milan even before the actual unveiling. The Xpulse range of motorcycles from Hero MotoCorp is designed for riding enthusiasts, especially those who love to go on adventure trips. We have been witnessing the Xpulse bikes for a long time now. However, the 210 series of this moniker is catered towards those who want healthy performance from their two-wheelers at a slightly premium in comparison to some entry-level adventure bikes. Let us take a look at the details here.

New Hero Xpulse 210 Debuts

The design specifics of the Xpulse takes inspiration from the Xpulse 200. It showcases the front section with aggressive and modern lighting with LED DRLs integrated inside the headlamp cluster. Apart from that, the side section of the headlight cluster oozes sporty vibes with those sharp cuts and creases. We can also see that the front light is a projector type which is common among modern bikes. Also, it gets a tall windscreen and a large fuel tank with sporty body graphics. Even the turn signals and tail lamps are LED. Hence, the overall appearance is quite imposing and rugged.

As is the case with all new-age motorcycles, even the new Hero Xpulse 210 comes loaded with the latest tech, connectivity and convenience amenities to pamper the buyers. This includes things like a 4.2-inch coloured TFT display for the instrumentation, bar-type tachometer, large speedometer, coolant temperature details, gear positioning indicator, and “Road” mode which could be for the engine or ABS. More details will emerge at the launch which is when the prices will also be announced.

Specs

In terms of the specifications, the new Hero Xpulse 210 carries the same engine and transmission as the Karizma XMR. However, there is a slight alteration in terms of the output. Resultantly, it boasts a 210-cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder mill which churns out a respectable 24.6 hp and 20.7 Nm of peak power and torque. This mill pairs with a 6-speed transmission. More importantly, the suspension travel is 210 mm at the front and 205 mm in the rear. This would aid off-roading scenarios a lot. Furthermore, it gets switchable ABS with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tyre. There will also be a rally kit on offer. The prices will be slightly higher than the Xpulse 200 which retails for Rs 1.47 lakh to Rs 1.55 lakh, ex-showroom.
