We have an idea of what the sales of the newly launched Maruti Brezza would look like after it receives over 45000 bookings in 8 days already. That translates to 4 bookings every minute since the day the official bookings commenced. Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) invested Rs 760 Crore for the development of the new Brezza which is the first of many SUVs that will launch in our market over the next few months. With a ton of segment-first features, Maruti aims to pose a tough challenge to the likes of Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon.

New Maruti Brezza Bags 45000 Bookings In 8 Days
On the outside, the Brezza features an imposing grille with gunmetal finish and chrome inserts, dual-LED projector headlamps, crystal block LED DRLs, upright stance, bold precision-cut alloy wheels, chunky wheel arches, electric sunroof, split-LED taillamps with ‘Brezza’ engraved between them, sporty silver skid plates at the front and rear, integrated roof spoiler and shark fin antenna. The overall design has seen many upgrades compared to the outgoing model, despite the silhouette being similar. There are options of monotone and dual-tone paint schemes.

Interior & Features
The inside of the new Brezza feels a lot more premium compared to the outgoing model. The dashboard features a textured look with silver inserts on the brown surface, the overall theme is dual-tone black and brown, there is ambient lighting, a wide part-digital instrument cluster with MID, leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering with controls, a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ Infotainment system, over 40 connected car tech features, ARKAMYS premium audio system, Wireless Smartphone Charging, a segment-first coloured Head Up Display (HUD), 360-degree View Camera, 6 airbags, ESC and many more.

The 2022 Maruti Brezza comes powered by a next-gen K-series 1.5-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid System that outputs 103 hp and 137 Nm of peak power and torque. There are options of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It offers a mileage of 20.15 km/l in LXi and VXi trims (MT), 19.89 km/k in ZXi and ZXi+ trims (MT) and 19.80 km/l in Automatic trim. The prices range from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh, ex-showroom.
