New-Gen Toyota Fortuner Digitally Rendered

Digital artists have a knack for creating compelling virtual illustrations of existing and upcoming automobiles

Updated on 03.03.2026 – The latest rendering by malvinwsetiawan on Instagram captures the virtual iterations of the new-gen Toyota Fortuner based on the recent spy images. We know that Fortuner is the most successful 7-seat off-roading SUV in the country. It has been a symbol of reliability and Japanese engineering for many years now. In the last few years, it has ruled the sales charts almost exclusively after the departure of the Ford Endeavour from India. Hence, we saw many avatars of the Fortuner, like the Legender and GR.

However, in the last few months, we have been witnessing news reports about the upcoming new-gen version of the iconic Fortuner. In fact, a recent spy image captured it undergoing testing. Based on this, the artist has created a rather compelling rendition. At the front, we witness a bold and aggressive demeanour with a broad grille, sleek LED headlamps, and a massive bumper with slim LED DRLs on the edges. Moving down the sides captures new alloy wheels, black side pillars, dual-tone layout with black roof, roof rails and side steps. Finally, the tail section showcases a shark fin antenna, a roof-mounted spoiler, connected LED taillamps and a rugged bumper. All in all, this digital concept looks quite stunning and we might see some elements on the production version in the coming months.

Next-Gen Toyota Fortuner Visualized Based on Latest Renderings

Originally published on 26.11.2025 – In this post, we take a look at some exciting visuals for the next-gen Toyota Fortuner based on the latest renderings. Fortuner is the most successful 7-seat off-roading SUV in India. It has been an iconic product in this space since 2009. Over the years, the demand for this reliable and capable machine has multiplied. Apart from the Ford Endeavour (which is no longer on sale in India since 2021), no other worthy competitor has arrived in this segment to put a dent in the sales of the Fortuner. Hence, the Fortuner continues to rule alone at the top. The new-gen version of the large SUV has been due now.

Next-Gen Toyota Fortuner Visualized

The visuals stem from the international version of the new Hilux showcased in some parts of the world. We know that the Fortuner is converted from the Hilux across the globe, even though it was the other way around for our market. At the front, the video demonstrates a sleek LED headlamp setup with a connected panel with Toyota lettering and a colossal front grille. Down below, we see a rugged skid plate section and fog lamps, accentuating the road presence and visibility.

Moving down the sides reveals adventurous elements like squarish wheel arches with sturdy claddings, black side pillars and a unique rear quarter design. Finally, the tail end contains a roof-mounted spoiler, a connected LED taillamp cluster with a black strip in the middle, and a sporty bumper. All in all, this looks like a great digital concept and we might even see the production model bear some of these design components. More details will emerge closer to the launch.

My View

I have been reporting on creative illustrations of various cars for a long time now. It always fascinates me what these talented designers are able to do with their imagination once the laws of physicality are out of the question. Let us keep an eye out for how the actual new-gen Toyota Fortuner ends up looking like.

Editor’s Note

Yatharth Chauhan, Managing Editor

Having tracked the Fortuner’s trajectory since its debut, I can say with confidence that any generational update to this SUV has massive implications for India’s premium ladder-frame segment. With the Endeavour still absent, Toyota enjoys an uncontested stronghold, so expectations from the next-gen model are sky-high. If even a fraction of these render-based design cues make it to production, Toyota will have no trouble reinforcing the Fortuner’s dominance. The real question now is how aggressively Toyota modernises the platform to match the evolving demands of Indian SUV buyers.
