Nikki Tamboli, a popular movie actor and the second runner-up of Bigg Boss Season 14 recently bought an exotic Mercedes GLE. This is yet another celebrity with a Mercedes luxury car. Generally, the celebs prefer to own Mercedes cars which makes it the largest luxury carmaker in the country. Nikki also appeared on other reality shows like Fear Factor. Gaining a lot of popularity on the TV and in movies, she is now a proud owner of a Mercedes.

Nikki Tamboli Buys Mercedes GLE
The actor took to social media to inform her over 3.3 million Instagram followers. She shared images of her with her dad and the white luxury SUV at the time of taking the delivery. There was a cake-cutting ceremony arranged at the dealership which is quite prevalent, especially with the luxury car deliveries. The cost of the Mercedes GLE ranges from Rs 85 lakh to Rs 1.02 Crore in the regular version and Rs 2.15 Crore in the performance-focused AMG 4MATIC version. The one in the images doesn’t look like the AMG version.

The GLE comes in a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel and a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine configuration. The smaller engine outputs 245 hp and 500 Nm, while the larger unit churns out 330 hp and 700 Nm of peak power and torque. Both these engines come mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The 2.0-litre version achieves the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.2 secs, while the 3.0-litre trim does it in just 5.7 secs.

The performance-oriented AMG Coupe version comes with a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo petrol configuration that produces 435 hp and 520 Nm of peak power and torque. This power is sent to all 4 wheels via the trademark 4MATIC technology by Mercedes. The transmission is customised 9-speed automatic and the 0-100 km/h takes just 5.3 secs.
