2020 Hyundai Verna facelift was launched amidst the lockdown, a couple of months back. The facelift gets some cosmetic upgrades, many new features and BS6 compliant all-new petrol and diesel engines. Also, there’s a 1.0 Litre turbo engine added and all three engines get different gearbox options as well.

Verna 2020 in Just ₹1 Lakh - Full Conversion Cost | 2018 SXO to Facelift Model

Here is a video where the owner of a pre-facelift 2018 Hyundai Verna converted his car into the latest 2020 model. Only some cosmetic changes have been done, but they have come at a total cost of Rs 1.14 Lakhs. The headlamps come in the costliest for around Rs 50,000 and Rs 10,000 for the grille. As you can see here, from the front, it looks exactly like the latest Verna facelift.

The front bumper has been revised as per the new model. The front grille has also been changed and it now receives three-slot LED headlamps as seen now. The fog lamp covers have also been refreshed and there’s the additional chrome detailing. The alloy wheels however remain unchanged which gives the first clue that this is not the facelifted model.

Also, the boot of this Hyundai Verna remains unchanged. However, as the new model, a boot spoiler has been added. Inside the cabin, there’s no changes done at all. The owner plans to change the instrument cluster as well, which is now a fully digital TFT unit. The cabin largely remains the same with the facelift, however, there are certain bits like a bigger touchscreen infotainment added.

Moreover, the biggest change has to be under the bonnet. The earlier 1.6 Litre petrol and diesel engines have been discontinued due to the BS4 norms. Now, it gets 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines, both producing 115 PS worth power. Also, it gets a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo petrol motor that produces 120 PS and comes paired to a 7-speed DCT.
