Ratan Tata Spotted Driving Mercedes-Benz SL500

In a rare video, Ratan Tata was spotted driving around Mumbai in his Mercedes-Benz SL500.

Ratan Tata is the leader of Tata Sons and Tata Trusts. He is known for his philanthropic initiatives and for bringing affordable vehicles to India. The legendary businessman was behind the infamous Tata Nano. Additionally, Mr. Tata has an impressive collection of imported cars. He is often seen driving his cars around the city. In a new video, Mr. Ratan Tata was spotted in a Mercedes-Benz SL500.

As you can see in the above video, Mr. Ratan Tata is driving a Mercedes-Benz SL500. The left-hand-drive unit was personally imported for him. You can also see that he is accompanied talking to a passenger in the co-drivers seat. Based on the surroundings, the video appears to be a few years old. However, it has recently become popular online as the footage offers a different side of Ratan Tata. The Mercedes-Benz 500 SL is powered by a 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol V8 engine that offers 306 Bhp of maximum power.

The Chrysler Sebring stands out among Mr. Ratan Tata’s automobile collection. It is the final known sedan with a convertible top that he owns. In an interview, Mr. Tata expressed a particular fondness for the color of his Sebring. He chose the same shade to paint the Indian for the Tata Indica, which was prominently displayed at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show.

Ferrari California

Honda Civic

Ratan Tata often uses a pristine white Honda Civic for his daily commute vehicle. He is usually in the driverโ€™s seat. The Honda Civic is powered by a 1.8-liter VTEC petrol engine that offers an impressive power output of 130 Bhp and a torque of 172 Nm.

Land Rover Freelander

Mr. Ratan Tata acquired the prestigious Jaguar Land Rover brand from Ford in 2008. It stands out with its stylish red interiors. The Land Rover Freelander is mostly used to chauffeur Mr. Tata to significant events. Interestingly, Mr. Tata does not own any Range Rovers.
