Check out this comparison video of Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet in terms of rear seat space and comfort. It will solve all your doubts regarding both the SUVs!
Kia Sonet is now the most popular and anticipated car in India, as it is soon bound to be launched. Many prospective buyers have already done a test drive and check out the car. However, a lot of them have been complaining about the rear seat space. We ourselves have done a video talking about the review and comfort of the rear seat. Here’s a comparison between Sonet and Venue in terms of the back seat for better understanding.
Talking about the Sonet first, the seat width stands at 48 inches compared to 47 inches wide seat of Venue. This has been taken by keeping the front seat at 90-degrees and towards the front. So, the leg room stands of Sonet stands at 10.5 inch and 1.5 inches when the seat is pulled fully backwards. As for Venue, its leg room is 11.5 inch and 1.5 inches in both the conditions.
The headspace of Sonet and Venue stands at 5 inches and 7 inches respectively. Lastly, the shoulder room of Venue is 56 inches while that of Sonet is 57 inches. As you can see, both of them are very similar in terms of rear-seat comfort. That concludes the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue are equally spacious at the back. Even their dimensions are quite similar, however, Sonet gets a better ground clearance.
Along with this, both are very similar when it comes to engine specifications. They get the same 1.0 Litre turbo petrol engine, 1.2 Litre petrol engine and a 1.5 Litre diesel engine. Venue offers a manual gearbox, iMT and DCT with the turbo motor but Sonet fails to offer a manual stick. On the other hand, Sonet gets a diesel-automatic combination along with a manual gearbox but Venue does not.
If we take features into consideration, Sonet is the clear winner as its offers front parking sensors, ventilated seats, smart air purifier with virus protection, UVO connect internet car technology and LED headlamps in addition to Venue. The prices of Sonet are just about to be announced on 18th September, so stay tuned on our website for detailed variant wise price list.
