Renault has revealed the specifications of the Triber Turbo Petrol. The 1.0 Litre three-cylinder engine will produce 100 PS of peak power.
Renault Triber currently gets a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder petrol engine. Soon, the MPV is set to get a turbo-petrol engine in addition. Renault has now revealed the specifications of Triber Turbo Petrol, ahead of its launch very soon.
Renault Triber Turbo Petrol will produce 100 PS and 160 Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the regular 1.0 Litre three-cylinder engine produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of peak torque. That’s 28 PS and 64 Nm of torque more.
The 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo petrol motor will only come on the range-topping variants of Renault Triber. Further, it will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. As of now, there are no details of it getting an automatic transmission.

At the Auto Expo 2020, Renault also showcased the Triber AMT. It gets a 5-speed AMT gearbox paired with the regular petrol engine. Some dealerships have already started accepting pre-bookings for the AMT variants. The bookings for BS6 Triber are already underway and its prices have also been revealed.
Renault Triber is a 7-seater MPV, the most affordable in the Indian market. It comes with customizable seats that can be folded to make a 6-seater, 4-seater and even a 2-seater. Plus, the third seating row can completely be removed and kept aside.
It comes with features such as touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto start-stop button, rear wiper and washer, four power windows, a fully digital speedometer and lots and lots of storage spaces.

Currently, the prices of BS6 Renault Triber commence at Rs 4.99 Lakhs up to Rs 6.78 Lakhs (ex-showroom). With turbo petrol and AMT variants incoming, the price range is expected to further extend up to Rs 7.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
