Bajaj Pulsar-based Royal Enfield Cafe Racer.

The trend of converting regular bikes into premium bikes in the aftermarket is really picking up and this latest iteration shows just how far this trend has come.

A Royal Enfield Cafe Racer has been developed from a Bajaj Pulsar shown in this video. You would be forgiven for not recognising the donor model instantly. The modification has been done quite professionally and the new model doesn’t give any hint about the original bike underneath. Now, BMW made the Cafe Racer genre quite famous and the aftermarket bike modification houses have been trying to replicate it ever since. Finally, we have a product that looks identical to the actual Cafe Racer.

The finished motorcycle carries all the mandatory design cues of the RE Cafe Racer. The most prominent is the massive 190 section rear tyre, sleek custom frame, single-seat set up, the lock handle unit has been borrowed from KTM, the inverted rearview mirrors and clip-on handlebars are also taken from the KTM, the sleek LED rounded headlight unit is something that you must’ve seen on some premium bikes like the Harley Davidson, the instrument cluster is also retrofitted on top of the headlight, the indicators are custom designed, the footpegs are taken from Yamaha R15 to enable the rider a lean look which is typical to Cafe Racers.

The alloy wheels are painted in golden colour with stylish black stickers on the rim to make it look sporty while riding, the front wheel has a dual brake disc set up seen on sportbikes, the black tyre cover looks classy too, the fuel tank is quite muscular with body graphics, the number plate has been mounted onto the side, there is a side engine protection guard, the tail section is made to look modern with a sleek LED brake light integrated into the frame, the exhaust pipe is compact but sporty and the black and golden colour theme accentuates the sportiness.

The engine has not been changed and the rear features a monoshock absorber, there is a slightly tweaked suspension system, and there will not be a huge difference in terms of the performance. The modifications on this Royal Enfield Cafe Racer from the original Bajaj Pulsar are only aesthetic in nature.
