Royal Enfield is offering make-your-own gear and apparel on their website. As of now, only half face helmets can be customized as per the desired design. Rest of the gear will be available soon for personalization.ย
As everyone knows, RE offers long touring bikes in its entire lineup. Accordingly, it also offers a variety of riding gear and apparels for the perfect biking experience.
The biking gear range includes helmets, jackets, boots, gloves, bags, eyewear and lots of things more. Not all of these gear are available at the outlet. Things like helmet and jacket might be available at the outlet.
Meanwhile, Royal Enfield has started retailing make-your-own helmets online. The personalization extends only to half-face helmets. Soon, everything off the riding gear will come with a personalization option.

On their official website, you can go down to the riding gear option and select the option of the make-your-own helmet. Except for the type, you can select for the desired decals, shell base colour, finish, Visor, internal fabric colour and Size.
Inside the decal option, you get 4 options. The most popular one is the “MLAG 1901 Made Like a Gun”. Royal Enfield offers Charcoal, Redditch Red, Battle Green, Desert Storm and Snow. The finish as of now is only available in Matte. Later, Gloss will also be introduced.
For helmet visor, Royal Enfield offers it with peak and chopper visor. You can also choose the colour of the internal fabric colour between Grey and Red. Lastly, you can pick the suitableย size of the helmet between S, M, L and XL.

You can also personalize your helmet with a text, with a limit up to 14 characters. The font size can also be changed just allowing to alter the limit of text characters.
The price of the custom-made helmet is around Rs Rs 3200. The original price of the helmet is also the same, which makes the actual personalization for free.
The delivery process will begin soon. Royal Enfield follows a 30-day delivery period for the customized helmets. It also offers a return policy of 15 days in case of a manufacturing defect. The helmets get ISI certification along with DOT certification too.

These gears can be used for any Royal Enfield bike. However the accessories and parts different for each one of them.
