Recently, the Bollywood actress was spotted in her Toyota Fortuner. A new video shows her getting out of her SUV. She even poses for cameras before moving on with her day. It is quite impressive that the Toyota Fortuner has become the first choice for Indian celebrities, politicians, and businessmen. The popular SUV has successfully become a new status symbol.

As you can see in the YouTube video by Movified, Shraddha Kapoor was spotted at the Maddock Films office in Santacruz, Mumbai. The production house is known for movies like Stree, Bhediya, Mimi, and more. The actress arrived at the office in her Toyota Fortuner (the exact variant is not clear). Shraddha Kapoor is known for its humble car collection. On numerous occasions, she has been captured in the first-generation Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and a Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback. However, she owns a first-generation BMW 3 Series sedan and a Mercedes ML-250 CDI SUV.

Toyota Fortuner

The Toyota Fortuner was initially launched in 2009. Despite several challenges, it has stayed popular among Indian customers. While SUVs like Ford Endeavour have left the Indian market, the Fortuner is still leading the sales in its segment. Priced at Rs 33.43 lakh – Rs 51.44 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), it goes against the likes of Skoda Kodiaq, MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, and Volkswagen Tiguan.

The new SUV is powered by a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that offers 163 bhp of maximum power and 245 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine outputs 201 bhp of maximum power and 420 Nm of peak torque. The Toyota Fortuner is based on the full-size ladder-on-frame. You can choose from both 4X2 and 4X4 layouts.

Earlier this year, Toyota unveiled a new eco-friendly variant at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The Toyota Fortuner Flexi Fuel is expected to be launched in the Indian market since the government is pushing for alternative fuel options. While it retains the 2.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor (163 bhp/ 243 Nm), the fuel system is redesigned to enable the use of 100 per cent biofuel like ethanol. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) has also been reprogrammed to bear the corrosive nature of ethanol fuel. This variant comes with an automatic transmission option.
