In a rather emotional turn of events, a man from Kerala took to social media to demonstrate his love for his father by gifting him a Royal Enfield Bullet. We know that millions of Indian’s, especially from the era gone by, had dreamt of owning a Bullet someday. This is particularly true for riding enthusiasts. Unfortunately, many people are unable to realize their dreams due to their life situations. Hence, there can’t possibly be a better thing than their children fulfilling their lifelong dreams. Here is one such case.
Son Gifts Royal Enfield to Father
This post stems from ashwin.os on Instagram. The visuals capture an emotional occurrence where the son brings his father to the Royal Enfield showroom and hands him the keys to a brand new Bullet. At first, the father couldn’t believe what was happening. That moment of hesitation and uncertainty is neatly captured in the video. However, he is evidently elated and emotional once he understands that this is a gift of his son. In fact, the son wrote, “14 years ago, he told me he wanted to buy a Bullet. He had chances over the years, but he never did. Maybe he just never put himself first. Today, I gave him the one thing he always wanted but never got for himself.”
The father took the wraps off the motorcycle, and the family posed for a few photos. Needless to mention, the netizens relished this video thoroughly. In fact, this post has received over 1.18 million likes already. Generally, the comment section is filled with best wishes to the family and appreciation for what the son has done for his father. This is a great opportunity for everyone to recognize the silent sacrifices our parents make to give the best to us as per their means.
My View
I feel such instances are immensely crucial to inspire people today. We see people get affected by so much that is being shown on social media. However, I believe we can use it in a positive manner too. Therefore, I hope that people get motivated by such content and give time to their parents, particularly in old age. We often get so busy with our lives that we don’t spare time for our loved ones. Let this video serve as a reminder to create a balance in our lives.
